Join our team as a Reception Supervisor at De Vere Tortworth Court and play a crucial role in ensuring our guests' expectations are not only met but exceeded. As a Reception Supervisor, you will lead by example and be the friendly face that greets our guests, making them feel welcome from the moment they arrive. You will ensure all shifts are supervised efficiently and all Reception duties are carried out to the agreed Company and Hotel Standards of Performance. You'll also get the opportunity to support the Front of House Manager in the recruitment, induction, training and development of the Reception team.

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility in working hours, including early shifts (7am-3:30pm), late shifts (2:00pm-10:30pm), and middle shifts (10am-6:30pm), which will include weekends on a rota basis.

What we look for in a Reception Supervisor:

  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry or a similar role, demonstrating your ability to provide exceptional guest service – knowledge of Opera is desirable but not essential
  • Effective communication skills, experience of supporting and guiding colleagues and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and guests
  • Punctuality and good personal presentation
  • Proficiency in using IT software and familiarity with operational systems
