Main Purpose of the Role: As Spa Manager of the Leaf Spa, you will lead the day-to-day operation of our Spa & Leisure facilities, delivering an exceptional guest experience while driving strong commercial performance. Our spa features five treatment rooms and generates approximately £500,000 in annual revenue, primarily through treatments and spa experiences. This is a hands-on leadership role with full operational and commercial responsibility for a well-established, high-performing department.
You will create a calm, welcoming and well-organised environment where guests can truly relax and unwind, while ensuring consistently high standards across treatment delivery, cleanliness, presentation and compliance. Alongside overseeing the daily operation, you will manage budgets, control costs, maximise treatment and retail revenue, and optimise bookings and utilisation to ensure the spa performs both operationally and financially.
Leading from the front, you will coach and develop a team of therapists and spa colleagues, fostering a positive, professional culture focused on care, quality and guest satisfaction. You will also confidently handle guest feedback and queries, resolving concerns quickly and thoughtfully.
The Ideal Candidate: To be successful in this role, you will have previous management or supervisory experience within a spa, wellness or hospitality environment, alongside a genuine passion for guest experience and team development. You’ll be:
