As a Conference & Events Manager, you will lead our Conference & Events Service and Bar teams ensuring every detail is considered and event spaces are set up according to client requirements. This role has responsibility for the operational service delivery of weddings and special events at the venue and reports to the Operations Manager. You will be managing a busy venue of 37 meetings & events spaces, for events up to 1500 attendees. The main purpose of the role is to oversee functions from planning to service delivery ensuring that service standards are met consistently; building a strong rapport with key clients and ensuring colleagues within C&B Service and Bars are equipped to deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role involves working a variety of shifts and days including weekends on a rota basis.

Your skills and experience:

  • You have events management or supervisory experience within a similar hospitality environment, with a good understanding of the operational delivery of weddings and banqueting events.
  • Through your intuitive approach you will put heart and soul into the operational delivery of conference and banqueting events to create unforgettable experiences.
  • You have strong communication skills and are organised and motivated with drive and determination.
