Does being at the heart of a busy wedding or event give you that “this is why I love my job” feeling? Join our team at De Vere Horsley Estate in Surrey as a Wedding & Events Manager and you'll play a key role in around 70 weddings each year - making sure every special day is truly memorable.
In return this role offers a salary of £30-35,000 per annum (dependent on experience) plus excellent benefits and career development training opportunities with De Vere.
Supported by an Assistant Manager, two permanent colleagues and a number of flexible events assistants you'll look after all of our weddings plus a mix of corporate functions and private events, such as baby showers and special birthday parties. Alongside events, you'll also support our on-site buffet restaurant team, guiding them to deliver consistent standards, efficient service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Your skills & experience
- You have experience running weddings and events, ideally at Supervisor or Assistant Manager level.
- You are organised, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills making it easy for you to ensure events run smoothly and to engage and motivate the team.
- You are able to build positive relationships with couples, guests, and colleagues alike.
- You are either a Personal Licence holder or are willing to attend this company funded training.
