Do you have Hotel or Events Venue sales experience? Would you like to develop your experience in a proactive Venue Sales role? De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London is seeking a Sales Executive to join our team. In return you will receive a salary of £29,000 per annum and excellent benefits, including £50.00 staff stays with De Vere Hotels, free meals on duty, and a paid day off to celebrate on your birthday to name just a few!

As our Sales Executive you will report to the Director of Sales and strengthen our new business pipeline through telesales, research, networking, account management all the whilst promoting the property's Meeting and Event facilities.

What you'll be doing:

  • Create a pipeline of new business opportunity
  • Source new accounts and contacts within identified sectors to strengthen pipeline with a particular focus on generating new conferences, day meetings and transient corporate accounts.
  • Research and pro-active outreach
  • Conducting appointments, either on-site, at client offices or industry events, to showcase the venue facilities and generate a strong pipeline for future business.
  • Assisting in the creation and implementation of a cohesive, ‘pro-active' sales strategy for meetings
