Are you looking for a leisure fitness role? Would you enjoy working in a luxury spa environment? As a Leisure Assistant you will support the Leisure Club Manager to ensure the smooth running of the health club. The role will involve a range of duties including:
- Carrying out pool checks
- Providing gym inductions to new and existing members
- Keeping accurate membership records
- Maximising sales opportunities wherever possible
Ensuring health and safety requirements are met at all times for the safety of both members and staff will also be very important in this role.
What we look for from a Leisure Assistant:
- Someone who is self-motivated with excellent communication skills and has previous experience in a leisure based role
- A Level 2 fitness instructor qualification would be beneficial along with the ability to design and lead fitness classes
- Pool Plant operator knowledge is desirable but not essential as a training qualification will be provided
