Are you an HR professional with a passion for the hospitality industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a People & Culture Manager to join the team at De Vere Tortworth Court in Wotton-under-Edge. The role offers a competitive salary plus the opportunity to earn 20% of salary based on business and performance. You will also have the opportunity to work as part of the wider team with regular team meetings and quarterly off-site conferences where we share best practice and learning opportunities, enjoy £50 staff stays with De Vere and have a paid day-off for your birthday.
As the People & Culture Manager you will work as part of the property's management team to drive employee engagement activities and foster a positive workplace culture. With the support of a People & Culture Coordinator you will work with the General Manager and senior team to review and deliver the People business plan which supports De Vere's Group HR strategy. Key to this role is supporting our colleagues, recruitment activities and coaching Heads of Department to get the best out of their people through effective people practices.
Your Skills And Experience
- You have previous HR experience ideally from an events venue, hotel or hospitality environment
- Experience delivering group training sessions and inductions
- Confident in influencing senior colleagues and passionate about communicating best HR practice
- You have a bright and warm personality, with an intuitive and adaptable approach
