Sales & Events Coordinator - 12 Months Fixed Term Contract
At De Vere Beaumont Estate – one of the UK’s largest event venues – we’re offering a 12 month Events Sales Office Placement starting in September 2026.
As a Sales & Events Coordinator you’ll spend most of your time in our Sales Office, getting involved in how enquiries turn into confirmed events.
From first contact through to final details, you’ll see how events are shaped before they’re delivered on the day.
You’ll support the team with a range of tasks, including responding to enquiries, speaking with clients to understand what they’re looking for, and helping to create tailored proposals for conferences, meetings, weddings and social events.
You’ll also input bookings into our system, keep records up to date, and help make sure every detail is captured accurately for the wider team.
You’ll work closely with both the Sales and Events teams, and you’ll complete a short rotation within Events Operations so you can see how things come together on the day.
This will give you a well-rounded understanding of both the planning and delivery side of events.
You’ll be learning from people who know their craft and care about doing things properly.
By the end of your placement, you won’t just understand how events are sold and planned - you’ll have played a genuine part in making them happen.
About You
- You don’t need to know everything yet - but you will need to be interested in events and open to learning.
- You’ll be someone who enjoys communicating with people and building relationships, whether that’s with clients or colleagues.
You’ll have good attention to detail, be organised in how you approach your work, and be able to manage a few different tasks at once.
- Because things can move quickly, you’ll stay calm under pressure and keep a positive, professional approach.
You’ll also be reliable, proactive, and ready to get involved in a busy team environment.
- Previous experience in hospitality, events or a customer-facing role would be helpful, but it’s not essential.
