As a Wedding & Special Events Executive you'll be at the heart of our hotel, turning initial enquiries into unforgettable experiences. Prepare to shine as you conduct captivating show rounds, showcasing our venue to the local wedding and banqueting market. From start to finish, you'll be involved in planning our guest’s events up to the day, effectively communicating their requirements to our operational team who will then run the event on the day.
This is a full-time role that involves working a variety of day shifts - with an earliest start time of 8am and a latest finish time of 8pm.
Working days of the week to be Tuesday - Saturday with 1 Saturday off a month subject to business.
Your Skills And Experience
- You will ideally have previous experience in a similar position, preferably within a 4-star quality hotel or events venue
- You are passionate about events and prepared to put your heart and soul in to delivering memorable experiences for our guests
- You forge strong working relationships and create genuine connections with colleagues and our valued guests through your excellent communication skills.
- You are confident using IT software - familiarity with Opera software would be beneficial but is not essential as training can be provided
- Most of all, you will share our values such as being graciously warm, demonstrating a genuine approach, anticipating guest needs and ensuring every detail is considered
