Do you have a talent for Revenue Management within a Conference & Events setting?
We have a new opening for a Revenue Manager to join our team to support the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden, London.
As the Revenue Manager for our city-centre events venue you will have responsibility for over £15m turnover. With a mix of conference and leisure events, you will define, implement and measure the pricing strategy for our meeting and event spaces and all other revenue generating areas. You will provide regular forecasts, business reports and participate in the preparation of annual budgets, working closely with the General Manager, Director of Sales and our experienced Group Director of Revenue. You will also work closely with our Director of Meetings & Events who oversees the sales office team, to drive sales and standards of service for positive revenue growth.
Your Skills & Experience
- You will have experience of Revenue Management within a Conference & Events-focused hotel or venue, with experience of pricing, forecasting and business reporting.
- You will be comfortable presenting commercial updates to all levels of the organisation.
- You will be confident interpreting and analysing data using Microsoft Excel.
- You can demonstrate a readiness to make decisions, take initiative and originate action to solve difficult problems.
- Experience of using Opera Cloud (PMS) & Venue Performance would be a distinct advantage.
- You enjoy working with people and supporting a team to learn and develop their knowledge and skills.
