Do you have Hotel or Venue Event sales experience? Would you like to develop your experience in a proactive Meetings & Events sales role? Based at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London, De Vere is seeking a Group, Conference & Events Coordinator to join the team supporting the De Vere portfolio.
As the Group Conference & Events Coordinator you will report to the Director of Meetings & Events Sales in delivering a first class, professional booking management service, whilst maximizing revenue and achieving budgeted targets across the De Vere portfolio.
In return you will receive a salary of £30,900 per annum plus a sales bonus incentive scheme worth up to 10% of your annual salary and excellent benefits including:
- £50.00 staff stays with De Vere Hotels
- A paid day off to celebrate on your birthday
Skills and Experience
- You will ideally have event sales/planning experience or proactive sales experience from within the hospitality sector such as Hotels, Restaurants or Event Venues.
- You have excellent communication, organisation and presentation skills to be able to positively represent De Vere.
- You are confident using IT software - familiarity with Opera software would be beneficial but is not essential as training can be provided.
- Most of all, you will share our values such as being graciously warm, demonstrating a genuine approach, anticipating guest needs and ensuring every detail is considered.
