Overview
Lead the charge in driving down energy use, maximising efficiencies and reducing costs, creating a greener future for some of the UK’s most iconic hotels and event spaces. At De Vere, we’re looking for an Energy Manager to design and deliver a group-wide energy strategy that balances innovation with the unique demands of our heritage properties and modernised sites. Based at our Windsor head office, you’ll also travel regularly across our estate of eight large hotels and event venues.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver a group-wide energy strategy that balances innovation with the needs of heritage properties and modernised sites.
- Travel regularly across De Vere’s estate to implement energy initiatives.
- Work closely with the Head of Property, ESG leaders, leadership teams and General Managers to identify opportunities, embed best practice, and deliver projects that make a measurable difference.
- Lead initiatives from lighting upgrades and HVAC optimisation to renewable feasibility studies.
- Use data-driven insights to guide decisions, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure every project delivers real value.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in energy management, ideally from within hotels or event venues.
- A passion for delivering real-world sustainability and driving operational efficiency.
