OverviewDe Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London are recruiting for a Conference & Events Manager to lead our Conference & Events Service and Bar teams, ensuring every detail is considered and event spaces are set up according to client requirements. This role is responsible for the operational service delivery of weddings and special events at the venue and reports to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

Lead the Conference & Events Service and Bar teams and manage a busy venue of 37 meetings & events spaces for up to 1500 attendees.

Oversee functions from planning to service delivery, ensuring service standards are consistently met.

Build strong rapport with key clients and ensure colleagues within C&B Service and Bars are equipped to deliver exceptional experiences.

Work a variety of shifts and days, including weekends, on a rota basis.

Skills & Experience

Events management or supervisory experience within a similar hospitality environment, with a good understanding of operational delivery of weddings and banqueting events.

Intuitive approach, heart and soul in operational delivery of conference and banqueting events to create unforgettable experiences.

Strong communication skills, organised, motivated with drive and determination.
