De Vere Latimer Estate is looking for a Hotel Operations Manager to join our leadership team.
Working alongside General Manager Shaun Moore, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our hotel, helping to drive its continued success.
Set within 30 acres of countryside in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, De Vere Latimer Estate combines a historic mansion house with contemporary bedrooms, extensive conference and event facilities, and a busy restaurant, bar and terrace.
As Hotel Operations Manager, you'll have responsibility for the operational performance of the hotel.
With a strong background in Food & Beverage and Conference & Events, you'll also oversee Reception, Nights, Housekeeping and Maintenance, leading your Heads of Department to strengthen service standards, develop their teams and ensure every department performs at its best.
You'll join a supportive leadership team that is committed to developing our people, creating an engaged workplace and continually raising service standards.
Working closely with the General Manager, you'll play an important role in leading the hotel, supporting your teams and ensuring high standards of service are delivered.
- What You'll Need
- Experience as either a Food & Beverage Manager, Hotel Operations Manager or Deputy General Manager and a strong background in Conference & Events operations, with experience leading high-volume service.
- A commercial mindset with experience of payroll, productivity, recruitment and cost control.
- The ability to lead teams to deliver consistently high service standards, driving improvements through training, clear direction and leading by example.
