Location: Our two homes are based on the outskirts of Wellington and Taunton, offering easy access from surrounding areas. Exeter, Tiverton, and Taunton are all within a straightforward 30–35 minute commute. Because of our locations, a valid driving licence and access to your own transport are essential.

Working Hours & Responsibilities:
- We operate 24/7, so flexibility is key.
- Expect to work during bank holidays, weekends, and fulfill sleep-in duties as part of your role.
- Average of 40 hours per week
- Average of 8‑10 shifts per month
- 10:00 am shift start time
- Average of 5‑8 sleep-ins per month
- 1 long weekend off every 3rd week (Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday)
About You: To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- Essential: Full UK Driving License (Manual)
- Essential: 12 months experience in Residential Childcare
- Strong written and IT skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Desirable: Level 3/4 NVQ or Diploma in Residential Childcare, or a commitment to work towards it (funded by de novo care)
What We Offer:
- Competitive rates of pay: £30,940 to £34,320 per annum (DOE and qualifications)
- Hourly rates: £13.00 to £13.50
- Average of 5‑8 sleep-ins per month, compensated at £65 per sleep‑in
- 30 days of holiday per year (including bank holidays)
