By delivering modular, stackable and employer-aligned education, we empower individuals to upskill and reskill throughout their lives, supporting social mobility, economic growth and civic renewal.
Identify and develop new business opportunities and grow numbers on credit-bearing professional short courses, HTQs, and apprenticeships offered by De Montfort University.
Proactively engage with existing employer partners to encourage repeat business and initiate new employer partnership opportunities to ensure consistent, ongoing application numbers to achieve minimum cohort targets.
Report to the Head of Higher Technical Education and Professional Skills; support growth in DMU’s extended education portfolio and improve profitability through strategic partnerships and new income streams.
Ensure that the employer experience is positive and consistent across DMU’s Extended Education portfolio; use ongoing feedback to drive continuous improvement.

- 5+ years in a business development/sales related role with demonstrable experience in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships and achieving targets.
