Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be setting up and leading a team whose objective is to stop the theft of books through digital means, by securing all components of the supply chain.
- Building out a blockchain DRM system for books.
- Creation of e-reader software / hardware utilising blockchain DRM.
- Liaising with major e-reader companies to utilise the blockchain DRM system.
- R&D of novel security software to prevent the duplication, distribution and display of copy-protected books; to be implemented in scanners, web servers and pdf readers.
- Liaising with major scanner / copy technology companies, ISPs and pdf reader software companies to implement novel security software in their products.
- R&D of copy proof security paper for printed books.
Requirements
- Experience in building and leading a technology team.
- Experience with liaising with major technology providers.
- Ability to find solutions to the most difficult of problems.
- Experience with building full stack, front and back end software systems.
- Experience with machine learning and pattern recognition.
Preferred
- Experience with blockchain.
- A love of literature.
Qualifications Required
- 3 years Full software stack.
- 3 years C++.
- Degree in Computer Science or similar.
