This is a new and exclusive opportunity to join a thriving financial services business in London City as they expand their information governance team. The role focuses on records management and data classification with upcoming large charge and transformation projects.

  • Location: London City with hybrid (50/50) home working

This role sits within an information governance team where the key pillars are data privacy, records management, and data classification. The role requires expertise in records management and data classification, and involvement in technology change projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance on data privacy, records management, and data classification
  • Promote awareness and understanding of controls and their strategic value
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels with strong communication to educate and influence
  • Contribute to upcoming technology change projects, including a data classification project and a records management tooling and policy project

Role requirements

  • Experience in information governance with emphasis on records management and data classification
  • Ability to work confidently with C‑suite stakeholders and support key change transformation initiatives
  • Extensive knowledge of data privacy and records management regulations across EMEA
  • Strong understanding of retention schedules and compliance requirements for records management
