Summary of the Role: As a Field Sales Executive, your primary focus will be driving sales growth across your territory. You will be responsible for expanding our client base, increasing revenue from existing accounts, and delivering exceptional service that reflects the prestige of the de Le Cuona brand. Reporting to the Head of UK Sales, you will play a key role in executing our UK trade sales strategy and achieving ambitious commercial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Sales Growth: Proactively manage and grow trade sales within your designated territory, consistently meeting and exceeding monthly and annual sales targets.
- Client Acquisition & Retention: Identify, approach, and convert new business opportunities while nurturing long-term relationships with existing clients in the design and interiors sector.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline using our CRM system, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and conversions.
- Strategic Account Development: Schedule and conduct regular client visits, presentations, and product demonstrations to maximise account potential. Travel to clients is expected 4 days a week.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, customer preferences, and market trends to inform sales strategy and identify new opportunities.
- Sales Reporting: Deliver clear, insightful weekly sales reports and contribute to monthly sales meetings with actionable insights and performance updates.
- Brand Representation: Uphold the de Le Cuona brand in all client interactions and third-party showrooms, ensuring a consistent, high-end customer experience.
- Support Sales Strategy: Execute the UK trade sales strategy in alignment with business goals, including participation in marketing initiatives, events, and exhibitions.
- Team Support: Required to support the London team during event season; Local networking events, Design Week, Craft Week and other organised events.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in a sales-focused role within interior furnishings, preferably textiles.
- Strong understanding of the interior design industry with established networks and proven ability to build and maintain trade relationships with a proven track record of success in sales.
- Strong commercial acumen and a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and close sales.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage a territory independently.
- Confident using sales data and CRM tools to drive performance.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative approach.
- Full UK driving licence with own car essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
