About the role

Reporting to the Senior Agri-Supply Chain Engagement Manager, you will act as a bridge between innovation pipelines and industry customers, ensuring emerging technologies are aligned with commercial realities and sector demand.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering an engagement strategy that raises awareness of emerging and newly launched agri-tech solutions across the agri-food sector
  • Working with supply chain and network partners to ensure technologies are demonstrated in relevant commercial environments
  • Gathering and communicating robust evidence around ROI, productivity, sustainability and commercial viability
  • Positioning the organisation as a trusted, independent broker of credible innovation
  • Engaging with industry bodies, professional associations and training providers to identify skills gaps linked with new technologies
  • Supporting the integration of new competencies into CPD schemes and advisory frameworks
  • Translating technical outputs into clear, commercially relevant narratives for farmers, advisors, processors, retailers and policymakers
  • Building and nurturing strategic partnerships with industry customers and supply chain stakeholders
  • Representing the organisation at key industry events and forums

About You

You will already be well connected within the UK agri food sector and comfortable operating at the interface between innovation, commercial decision making and industry adoption.

You are likely to have experience in:

  • A strong existing network across farming, agri-tech, advisory or food supply chain organisations
  • Proven ability to build partnerships with industry bodies and professional organisations
  • Confidence translating technical innovation into compelling, commercially grounded messaging
  • A solid understanding of agri-food business drivers: productivity, profitability and sustainability
  • Strong influencing, stakeholder engagement and management, and communication skills
