Working alongside an experienced trader, you'll gain the skills, market knowledge and industry relationships needed to build a long-term career in agricultural trading.

As part of a planned succession strategy, you'll receive hands-on training across grain trading, customer management, market analysis and agricultural inputs.

Over time, you'll take on greater responsibility while being supported by an experienced mentor.

This role is ideal for a bright graduate or ambitious individual with a strong understanding of agriculture who is keen to build a commercial career.

No previous grain trading experience is required, just an eagerness to learn, strong communication skills and a genuine interest in the industry.

Role Overview Learn the fundamentals of grain trading and agricultural commodity markets.

Build relationships with growers, merchants and customers.

Monitor grain markets, crop conditions and industry trends.

Support grain buying, selling and contract administration.

Coordinate grain movements with customers and internal teams.

Assist with the sale of agricultural inputs, including fertiliser.

Attend farm visits, agricultural events and customer meetings.

Develop into a key part of the trading operation through a structured succession plan.

About You Degree educated, ideally in Agriculture, Agri-Business, Rural Business Management or a related subject.

Strong interest in agriculture, markets and commercial business.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Ambitious, proactive and keen to develop a long-term career.

Agricultural knowledge gained through education or industry exposure.
