Working alongside experienced consultants, you'll help clients improve profitability, enhance farm performance, and deliver long-term business strategies across a range of agricultural enterprises.

The Role

This is a varied and rewarding position combining hands-on farm management support with high-level business consultancy. Working closely with landowners, farm managers and rural businesses, you'll provide practical advice and strategic guidance across all aspects of farm operations.

No two days are the same. From budgeting and business planning to environmental schemes, staff management and diversification projects, you'll be trusted to deliver tailored solutions that drive results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

β€’ Deliver farm management and business consultancy to a diverse farming client base.

β€’ Develop business strategies, budgets, cashflows and management reports.

β€’ Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and long-term resilience.

β€’ Manage grant, subsidy and environmental scheme applications.

β€’ Advise on agricultural policy, compliance and environmental regulations.

β€’ Support diversification, development and growth projects.

β€’ Provide technical guidance across crops, livestock, soil health and modern farming practices.

β€’ Assist with farm staff recruitment, management and development.

We're looking for a proactive and professional individual with a genuine passion for agriculture and rural business management.

Essential Requirements

β€’ Degree in Agriculture, Land Management or a related discipline.

β€’ Experience within farm management, estate management or agricultural consultancy.

β€’ Strong understanding of commercial farming and rural businesses.

β€’ Excellent analytical and financial skills.

β€’ High attention to detail and accurate record-keeping ability.

β€’ Strong verbal and written communication skills.

β€’ Proficient in Microsoft Office and general business systems.

β€’ Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

β€’ Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
