Fixed term: 24 months (with possible 3- 6 month extension)
The Heritage Engagement and Volunteer Manager will work with all DLWP teams to develop and deliver the participatory archiving and heritage interpretation strands of The National Lottery Heritage Fund Activity Plan as well as co-ordinate and deliver a diverse pool of DLWP volunteers.The role includes working with partners to deliver Heritage engagement events and community archiving as well as actively recruiting and managing volunteers to support the programme. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with communities to co-create and deliver heritage projects,working with and interpreting archive and museum collections andmanaging and motivating volunteers.
