The Vacancy
You will be working as a flexible team player across a wide range of production processes and activities within the Finishing/Holographics Process Department. Your day to day responsibilities will include -
- Operating various machines, conversion equipment, ancillary equipment and their associated quality and control systems safely and with due regard for the environment.
- Ensuring that the quality requirements for the tasks undertaken are met.
- Producing materials to a high specification free from defects.
- Being responsible for the efficient set up and operation of a variety of machinery involved in the manufacture of high-quality thread/holographic products.
- Ensuring all processes are fully and accurately recorded and entering appropriate data into the Information Systems where required
- Maintaining performance levels at all times; packing materials to required standard procedures.
- Providing accurate stock recording and accurately completing of documentation where required
- Providing on-the-job training for new and existing employees where required and help in the developing of training manuals and SOP’s CONFIDENTIAL
- Ensure all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures are followed at all times and that employees are encouraged to take responsibility for the health and safety of themselves and others.

CAPABILITY (qualifications, Experience And Skills)
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience.
- Manufacturing knowledge / experience.
- Good hand/eye co-ordination and dexterity.
- Excellent numerical and literacy skills are essential.
- Attention to detail is paramount; a good team player with a with a flexible honest approach and willingness to learn.
- Good organisational and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of converting/machine operation processes or equivalent manufacturing experience.
- Understanding of quality system requirements.
- Shift working.
