Vacancy Working within the Print Team operating print presses to ensure machine output is maximised and quality standards are maintained across the process and on individual machines; whilst adhering to health and safety regulations. Key Accountabilities Ensure machine is run in a safe ensuring production support is utilised fully to maximise smooth and efficient make readies, changeovers and running of the machines; providing full support to these processes including clean downs. Meet production, quality, delivery, continuous improvement, and safety targets in line with the company’s KPI’s. Work to continually improve the Print Sections performance; providing training and development for new and existing employees as required. The above list is not exhaustive you will be required to undertake other duties within capabilities, consistent with this role, to support the needs of the business. CAPABILITY (qualifications, Experience And Skills) Successful completion of a craft apprenticeship (NVQ 3) or equivalent experience Experienced in producing high specification work on several processes. Flexible and pro‑active approach; ability to work well within a team and to tight deadlines. Ability to work independently, flexibly and with a high degree of initiative. First few months as a new incumbent to the position will attract training rates of pay until such a time when the employee is formally signed off as proficient and competent.
