Overview
You will be working within the Print Team operating print presses to ensure machine output is maximised and quality standards are maintained across the process and on individual machines; whilst adhering to health and safety regulations.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure machine is run in a safe manner ensuring production support is utilised fully to maximise smooth and efficient make readies, changeovers and running of the machines; providing full support to these processes including clean downs.
- Meet production, quality, delivery, continuous improvement, and safety targets in line with the company's KPIs.
- Work to continually improve the Print Section performance; providing training and development for new and existing employees as required.
Capability (Qualifications, Experience and Skills)
- Successful completion of a craft apprenticeship (NVQ 3) or equivalent experience.
- Experienced in producing high specification work on several processes.
- Flexible and pro-active approach; ability to work well within a team and to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, flexibly and with a high degree of initiative.
