We are looking for a Finance Analyst to support the Site Finance, Divisional Finance & Site Operations team. Your role will include all aspects of reporting and analysis from period reporting, management analytics and strategic reporting, forecasting and budgeting, through to the preparation of journals and the production of accurate and insightful financial planning and analysis information.
You will:
- Provide support for the annual budget and monthly forecasts process
- Support the Management Accountant in the review and preparation of monthly financial statements & management accounts, including:
- Preparation of monthly accruals schedules & JNL posting
- Trial balance with commentaries for month end review
- Provide analysis against Budget & Forecast on the monthly actuals
- Pro-active management of monthly period account closing
- Pro-active management of site overhead reporting analysis for the two business units, providing insight into YTD and period results and variances to budget / forecast
- Support reporting of sales, dispatches and stocks reconciling between MRP to Finance system (SAP ByD) for accurate period dispatches, revenue recognition & stock accuracy
- Pro-active management of site capital expenditure reporting analysis, providing insight into YTD and period results and variances to budget / forecast, educating forecast updates
- Pro-actively support half year & year end stock count process & stock reconciliation of ERP & Finance system
- Support successful closure of half year and year end YE Audit
Essential:
- Part qualification in Professional finance qualification
- Experience of working with ERP / large scale corporate Finance systems
Desirable:
- Experience of Cost Accounting (using standard costs / cost models)
- Variance analysis knowledge and experience
- Experience of accounting in a manufacturing environment
- Management accounts experience
- SAP BYD / BPC experience
