De La Rue is currently recruiting a Filtration Plant Operator for our site near Loughton, Essex. Reporting to the Pre-Press Manager, you will support operations by ensuring the smooth running of our Effluent Plant area.

The role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Ensuring there are no production delays caused by unavailability of solutions
  • Maintaining the quality of solutions to the required standards
  • Informing the Print team of any breakdowns to facilitate backup equipment use
  • Monitoring levels and equipment to ensure efficient operation and maximum availability
  • Ensuring procedures meet output standards
  • Maintaining recycled water quality and ensuring solutions discharged comply with local authority requirements
  • Disposing of solid waste in accordance with legislative requirements
  • Operating the Effluent Plant safely and correctly
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to report maintenance or breakdown issues
