De La Rue is currently recruiting a Filtration Plant Operator for our site near Loughton, Essex. Reporting to the Pre-Press Manager, you will support operations by ensuring the smooth running of our Effluent Plant area.
The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Ensuring there are no production delays caused by unavailability of solutions
- Maintaining the quality of solutions to the required standards
- Informing the Print team of any breakdowns to facilitate backup equipment use
- Monitoring levels and equipment to ensure efficient operation and maximum availability
- Ensuring procedures meet output standards
- Maintaining recycled water quality and ensuring solutions discharged comply with local authority requirements
- Disposing of solid waste in accordance with legislative requirements
- Operating the Effluent Plant safely and correctly
- Collaborating with the engineering team to report maintenance or breakdown issues
