The role
Due to expansion at our operation near Loughton, Essex, we are looking to recruit BPS Operator Number 2s to join our growing team. The role of a BPS Operator No 2 is to ensure that the BPS machine output is maximised and quality standards are maintained, whilst adhering to health and safety regulations.
Duties within the role include, but are not limited to:
- Maximise the machine\’s efficiency to produce consistently high output and quality.
- Perform minor problem solving on the machine, identify technical problems, and suggest solutions.
- Liaise with BPS Seniors to ensure quality standards are met.
- Ensure waste levels are minimised.
- Escalate any machine malfunctions in line with escalation procedures.
- Control and monitor associated paperwork and computer records to provide accurate documentation.
To be successful in your application, we are looking for individuals who can demonstrate:
- Pass enhanced social media, financial, and DBS checks (Essential)
- Exposure to a manufacturing environment (advantageous)
- Able to complete required paperwork and be PC literate (MS Office) (Essential)
- Experience of working in an industrial environment (Essential)
- Able to follow policies and procedures
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills (Essential)
- Experience of finishing processes (Desirable)
- Able to manipulate OBIS model (Desirable)
