We are looking for a commercially perceptive and proactive Associate Commercial Manager to join our Commercial department within De La Rue. You will bring strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the confidence to lead commercial input on sales opportunities, negotiate contract terms and work collaboratively across technical, legal and operational teams. With a keen eye for detail and excellent drafting capability, you will be comfortable managing multiple negotiations simultaneously, identifying and mitigating risk, and ensuring compliance with governance and policy requirements. You will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, be driven to continuously improve processes and practices, and have experience in a commercial or contract management role, ideally supported by a relevant business or legal qualification (or relevant experience).
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting terms and conditions for allocated customer offers, tenders and contracts and negotiation of same, ensuring appropriate stakeholder engagement and input.
- Production and presentation of handover documentation to Delivery Team to ensure post contract compliance.
- Post contract management of allocated accounts; drafting and concluding contract amendments; supporting customer disputes and price reviews; identifying opportunities and risks as they arise.
- Deliver the best commercial practice methods and approaches within the business to maintain compliance with DLR's governance, policies and procedures.
- Provide commercial input as required for internal and ISO and other audits as required.

- Degree; business related desirable; legal qualification (Min: Cilex); CCM qualified, equivalent work experience min 3 years proficient in MS Word and Adobe; competent using of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
