We are seeking an experienced Designer to join our growing engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality detailed design drawings, and fabrication packages for projects within the water treatment sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated designer with a strong background in steelwork and pipework design, ideally gained within the clean water and wastewater (sewage) treatment industry.
Key Responsibilities
Develop accurate 2D/3D models and drawings of process plant layouts, steelwork structures, and pipework systems.
Produce detailed fabrication and installation drawings.
Work closely with project engineers, mechanical engineers, and site teams to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective.
Conduct design reviews and clash detection exercises.
Ensure all designs comply with project specifications, industry standards, and health and safety requirements.
Support project delivery from concept through to commissioning.
Assist with material take-offs and procurement information.
