Job Description

De Beers are looking to recruit a delivery focused Global Head of Reward on a 9-12 months fixed term maternity cover contract. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our global reward function. This role is pivotal in ensuring our reward philosophy aligns with our business and people strategy, attracting, motivating, and retaining top talent across the diamond pipeline.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  1. Developing and managing the global reward philosophy framework whilst also building the reward capability across the Group and mentoring reward specialists. You will manage a global team of four with two direct reports.
  2. Oversee the annual reward cycle processes across De Beers businesses and support senior leaders on reward matters, including salary positioning and grading.
  3. Provide technical expertise to support operational reward decisions and act as the interface between De Beers and Anglo American Group Reward.

Qualifications

  1. Extensive experience in global reward management, covering the full spectrum of reward specializations. This includes compensation, incentives, and recognition programs.
  2. Will have proven experience in managing teams and leading cross-functional projects within HR and across the business.
  3. Experience working in international settings, dealing with geographically diverse stakeholders and understanding different cultural contexts. The role may require occasional travel.
  4. Detail-focus, highly numerate, and capable of managing complexity and ambiguity while remaining professional.
