Do you want to make a real difference to young people's futures?
Are you looking for more than just a job?
Do you thrive on organisation, attention to detail and ensuring things run smoothly behind the scenes? Could you lead a critical function that helps hundreds of students achieve their qualifications and take their next steps in education, training and employment?
De Aston School is seeking a highly organised, motivated and detail-oriented Examinations Officer to join our friendly and supportive team and lead the administration of all internal and external examinations.
This is a pivotal role within the school. From examination entries and timetables to results days and post-results services, you will ensure every aspect of the examination process is delivered efficiently, securely and in full compliance with examination regulations.
Working closely with students, staff, invigilators, awarding bodies and external agencies, you will play a key role in supporting students at some of the most important milestones in their educational journey. Every examination session you organise and every deadline you meet contributes directly to students achieving their potential and progressing to their chosen destinations.
You will be supported by an experienced and dedicated staff team and will work collaboratively across the school to ensure the smooth delivery of examinations throughout the academic year. Whilst attendance is required during examination periods and on key examination dates, including up to ten days during August for results processing, the role also offers opportunities for flexible working arrangements.
