Job Description
As a Regional Channel Manager , you will manage all sales activities for DDN\’s designated channel partners in support of revenue and business unit expansion objectives. This challenging and highly visible position requires an individual who can drive incremental business with channel partner field sales while meeting aggressive revenue goals. You must be results-driven, have a strong understanding of the storage marketplace, be customer-focused, and skilled in building technical and sales partner relationships. This role requires collaboration with DDN and partner teams across Marketing, Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Customer Support.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maximize sales and partnership potential through sales best practices, training, and support.
- Act as the primary interface for DDN accounts and channel-generated opportunities.
- Establish and maintain contacts and teaming campaigns with technical and sales personnel.
- Work with marketing to drive programs and events to generate new prospects.
- Identify and recruit channel partners to support expansion goals.
- Manage and be the main contact for assigned channel partners.
- Set revenue targets and participate in account planning and sales campaigns.
- Meet and exceed sales quotas and provide accurate revenue forecasts.
- Report weekly on pipeline and forecast using Salesforce.
- Participate in partner seminars and events.
- Identify and facilitate technical support and training for partners.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 12 years of sales experience and 5 years in channel management.
- BSc in Engineering or Computer Science preferred; MBA a plus.
- Proactive, results-oriented leader with excellent communication and relationship skills.
- Proven success in exceeding sales quotas and building channel programs.
- Strong network with Tier 1 and Tier 2 partners in high-performance computing and enterprise IT.
- Understanding of storage technologies and consultative sales techniques.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
