We are seeking an experienced professional standards specialist to lead the review and modernisation of a Code of Professional Conduct for a multi-disciplinary, multi-jurisdiction membership organisation. This is not a general project management role. The successful candidate will bring direct experience of professional standards, ethics, or regulatory frameworks, and will play an active role in shaping and drafting a principles-based Code that reflects emerging professional, ethical, and digital challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end review and update of the Code of Professional Conduct
- Conduct stakeholder consultation and benchmarking against best-practice Codes
- Work with subject-matter experts to draft and refine a principles-based Code
- Present proposals to senior stakeholders and governance committees
- Support implementation through communications and training planning
Requirements
- Proven experience drafting, reviewing, or implementing a Code of Conduct or professional standards framework
- Experience working within professional standards, ethics, compliance, or regulatory environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to deliver a defined piece of work within a fixed timeframe
- Background in law, private client services, wealth management, accounting, or professional education
- Experience within a professional or membership body
