An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hands-on Pub Chef to join the kitchen team within a busy and well-established countryside pub located on a stunning farm estate in Hertfordshire. This role would suit an experienced Senior Chef de Partie, Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef who genuinely enjoys cooking fresh pub food without the pressures of back-office management responsibilities. The kitchen management team oversee all ordering, stock control, rota planning and administration, allowing you to focus entirely on service and producing quality dishes consistently. The operation serves a busy all-day menu focused around classic British pub fare using fresh ingredients, with a strong emphasis on consistency, pace and quality during high-volume periods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and cooking fresh pub dishes to a consistently high standard.
  • Working across all kitchen sections during busy services.
