We are currently recruiting for multiple Sous Chef positions across the UK, working with a range of quality-led establishments including country house hotels, boutique properties, and high-volume kitchens. These roles are ideal for experienced chefs looking to step into a key leadership position within a well-structured kitchen environment.
As a Sous Chef, you will be second in command in the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, service delivery, and team leadership. You will play a crucial role in maintaining standards, driving consistency, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Head Chef in the overall running of the kitchen.
- Lead service and ensure consistency and quality across all dishes.
- Supervise, train, and develop junior members of the brigade.
- Assist with menu development, costing, and seasonal planning.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and compliance.
- Manage stock control, ordering, and minimise wastage.
- Step in to run the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
