Workplace description: This hotel is perfectly placed to explore the best of what the Lake District has to offer and is surrounded by a variety of walks and beautiful views from almost all rooms. It boasts two function rooms, the largest of which can hold 120 people for a formal function, plus a restaurant, and a traditional pub which serves real ale and has low oak beams, flag stone floors, and a warm Cumbrian welcome. Guests on Business have a choice of two dedicated conference suites. There is also a coffee shop plus an indoor swimming pool and sauna. Friendly and helpful staff is waiting to help make your stay a memorable one.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Supervise work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive rooms in hotel.
- Assign duties, inspect work, and investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and take corrective action.
- Purchase housekeeping supplies and equipment, take periodic inventories, screen applicants, train new employees etc.
Essential criteria: A stable background is essential. The ideal candidate will also have experience of leading a team in a very hands-on role for previous employers.

Charge for accommodation: 230.00 GBP per month
