Workplace description: Set in a fabulous location with beautiful private gardens and magnificent views, the atmosphere of the hotel is warm, friendly and welcoming with thoughtful service to make you feel truly at home.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • You must be an outgoing and friendly person and possess good communication skills.
  • Previous experience of Front of House Systems would be an advantage but full training will be given to the right candidate.
  • You will be required to assist in the day-to-day running of the reception area, answering calls, handling guest enquiries, checking guests in and out, taking reservations.
  • This is a busy front desk so you must be organized and able to work as a team or on your own initiative, providing a high level of customer service at all times.
  • When the need arises, you will also work in other hotel departments, especially housekeeping, to ensure rooms are ready for guests to check in and the restaurant during busy service periods.

Essential criteria:

  • You will have previous reception experience within a good quality hotel.
  • You will be hardworking and flexible and be a good team player.
  • You will be driven to providing good customer service and be well presented and polite.
  • Be able to take responsibility and instruction as well as working under your own initiative.
  • Good computer skills are also needed.
