What You'll Be Doing
- Checking and dispensing prescriptions in line with SOPs and company procedures
- Supporting the preparation and organisation of prescriptions for the dispensing process
- Assisting with prescription and order queries
- Working closely with pharmacists and pharmacy colleagues to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Supporting the training and development of team members and new starters
- Maintaining high standards of governance, compliance and confidentiality
- Recording and reporting near misses, complaints and other governance incidents
- Helping to maintain a clean, organised and efficient pharmacy environment
What We're Looking For
- Accredited Checking Dispenser qualification (or willingness to complete the qualification if required)
- Previous experience working within a pharmacy environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety
- Experience checking prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Confidence using pharmacy systems and learning new technologies
