As the business continues to grow, we are strengthening our contract team with a new Contract Supervisor role — providing an excellent opportunity to step into a growing organisation where your skills will directly contribute to high-profile projects, with the backing of an experienced and supportive team. About the Role Reporting directly to the Lead Contracts Manager, you’ll take a leading role in delivering drainage survey and civil engineering projects both efficiently and safely. Acting as the key operational link between the office and site teams, you will manage daily operations, coordinate resources, supervise site teams, and ensure that all activities meet compliance, safety and commercial targets. Key Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day delivery of drainage and infrastructure projects. Good understanding of Road Space applications for both National Highways and Local Authorities. Coordinate site personnel, subcontractors, equipment, and materials. Monitor operational performance and resource utilisation. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and manage orders. Support SHEQ compliance through site inspections, safety briefings, and training. Provide regular project updates to management on progress, costs, risks, and issues. Promote a positive team culture and support staff development. About You Previous experience in a supervisory or coordination role within civil engineering, highways, or construction. Strong operational and organisational skills. Working knowledge of Health & Safety practices, including CDM 2015 Principal Contractor role. Commercial awareness and ability to monitor site-level budgets. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Proficient IT skills (email, Excel, reporting software). Full UK Driving Licence with less than 6 endorsements. Desirable Experience in drainage survey operations. SSSTS/SMSTS/IOSH qualifications. CSCS card. Understanding of drainage systems, survey methods, and drawings.
