About You

Our growing UK Publicity team are looking for a passionate, driven Awards (Film) Assistant to join DDA and work on the Awards Team, supporting the team and our expanding roster of clients. Though you will be holding an entry level position, your work will be instrumental in the development and execution of awards campaign plans and strategies. If you are well‐organised, confident and an excellent communicator, we'd like to meet you.

Your Key Responsibilities Include

  • Delivery
    • Creating and managing databases and internal documents
    • Managing and maintaining upkeep of all awards analysis documents
    • Drafting attendance and feedback reports following screenings and Q&As
    • Managing guest lists, inboxes and RSVPs for awards events
    • Communicating with voters via email in a professional and diligent manner
    • Generate press clippings for awards client
    • Drafting and seeking approval of awards invitations
  • Strategy and Commercial Awareness
    • Track publicity items in newspapers/trades/etc.; follow and review industry news and trade press daily
    • Tracking social media content streams and trends
  • People
    • Maintain professional manner and demonstration of strong work ethic towards account teams and company as a whole
    • Be approachable and professional at all times and positively contribute to the team environment
    • Inspire your colleagues to push themselves and lead by example
    • Champion the importance of teamwork and motivate others around you
    • Provide clear communication on project progress

Skills & Experience

  • A passion for learning, and getting under the skin of client businesses to give them the best possible outcomes
  • Ability to multi‐task and stay organised to meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects
  • A team player, willing to share knowledge and discuss approaches and tactics but also able to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
