About You

As Director of the Creator Marketing & Digital Publicity team, you’ll be responsible for a thriving team of eight influencer specialists. Under your stewardship, the team will continue to deliver the highest standard of work for the world’s leading entertainment brands as well as the most exciting independent filmmaking talent. Maintaining oversight across a vast caseload, you will work with your senior team to ensure that highly creative, results driven campaigns are delivered to schedule and to ensure the team itself is properly resourced. This requires impeccable organisational skills, as well as a keen attention to detail. Your knowledge of the Creator landscape and social trends is exceptional, and you also demonstrate a solid understanding of the UK Film and TV space. Your relationships with Creators and Agents are built over years of collaboration. An impeccable presenter, you are excited at the prospect of driving new business and are able to inspire excitement for your ideas in a pitch setting. You are keen to innovate and deepen our work in the industry, including exploring new revenue streams.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Client Relationships
    • Strengthen and deepen relationships with our existing clients and build new ones, adding value with expert knowledge and ensuring feedback is thoroughly reviewed.
    • Support cross-functional teams, ensuring they have what they need to deliver great work.
    • Act as a point of escalation for any client issues. Address challenges proactively and maintain a positive partnership with historic and new clients.
    • Work with the SVP UK Consumer Publicity and senior partners to troubleshoot any issues relating to this ongoing work.
  • Delivery
    • Support the senior team in delivering the best possible outcome for a project.
    • Ensure standards for all client comms and documentation are clearly understood by project teams at the outset. Be ready to step in to troubleshoot if needed.
    • Resource each project accordingly with consideration of workloads, client fit, opportunities for growth and the passions of individual team members.
    • Ensure campaign/event budgets are kept and regularly updated for clients as required. Support project leads in this work.
    • Develop and maintain exceptional relationships with Creators/Creator Managers, whilst ensuring maximum visibility for our projects.
  • Strategy and Innovation
    • Champion creative, culturally relevant approaches to creator strategy, with an awareness of client objectives and competitive landscape.
    • Invest time and creativity in new business pitches and business development research.
    • Work with SVP on all recruitment and training requirements, identifying upskilling opportunities.
    • Seek opportunities to build renown for the Creator Marketing division and its experts internally and externally.
    • Review and evolve pricing structures, best practices, and new capabilities in consultation with SVP.
  • People
    • Build relationships with other Heads of Department – develop deeper understanding of all our services and educate others on the work of your department.
    • Proactively share information with other departments where suitable to support new business drives.
    • Contribute ideas about the agency overall? How can the environment be improved, what innovations can we introduce?
    • Invest in your team’s growth through coaching, mentorship, and clear development plans.
    • Help foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive team culture.
    • Line-manage with empathy, transparency, and high standards.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstratable experience in working in Influencer marketing at a senior level within the Film, TV and Entertainment sector.
  • Extensive hands on experience of paid and earned creator campaigns married with an excellent understanding of influencer advertising practices and regulations, and reporting metrics.
  • Proven leadership and strategic experience working on campaigns, with strong experience of client management.
  • Exceptional relationship building skills.
  • Known to a range of clients in the entertainment sector as well as a host of talent managers.
  • Highly motivated with exceptional influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Previous experience managing senior colleagues, carrying out appraisals and assisting with their progression.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized to meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects.
  • A team player, willing to share knowledge and discuss approaches and tactics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive & intuitive.
  • Highly organised, and a clear, confident delegator.
