Are you a pragmatic and detail-orientated Supply Chain professional looking for a new challenge? Join our dynamic Commercial team as a Supply Planner and play a crucial role in forecasting, ordering and managing shipments for our large profile of products and suppliers. We are looking for someone who has experience with product forecasting and can ensure customer demand can be met whilst working within company budgets and stock targets. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who can make the role their own and wants to be involved in process improvements, as you will be encouraged to have a voice within the team. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Creating purchase forecasts and stock forecasts for a portfolio of products and suppliers, ensuring service levels are maintained. Recommending changes and managing stock profiles, max/minimum stock positions, buffer stocks and EOQ calculations. Proactively managing purchase orders with suppliers, ensuring business parameters are followed. Reviewing slow-moving, excess and obsolete stock and identifying products for clearance whilst managing trigger points. Collaborating with the Operations team to ensure all deliveries are pre-booked and compliant. Ensuring monthly budget spend is adhered to in all currencies and expediting orders with suppliers.
