We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our client in Leigh as a Class 1 PM driver, working Monday to Friday. This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing work with Temp to Perm available.

  • Class 1 Driver – Afternoon Starts
  • £16.00ph. (+ £1.93 with Hols up front = £17.93)
  • Monday-Friday, 10-11 hour shifts.
  • Ongoing work.
  • Assessment/Induction required - Start Straight away.
  • 6 Months Class 1 driving experience is required.

Class 1 Driver Duties

  • Curtain side work – Trunks & Multi-Drop Shifts.
  • Cages & Pallets – Some Unloading Required.
  • Monday – Friday PM Starts.
  • Full training provided.
  • Routine vehicle checks and general upkeep/cleanliness of the cab.
  • Making sure that the load is correctly placed and secure before driving.

Essential Experience/Qualities for this position

  • Great work ethic.
  • Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience.
  • Digital Tacho Card & CPC Card.
  • Be professional and presentable at all times.
  • Have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances.
  • Must not hold any more than 6 points on your license.
  • No IN10, TT99 or DR10.
