We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our clients Distribution Centre based in Thrapston as a Class 1 Driver. Class 1 Delivery Driver • Minimum 12 Months Class 1 Experience Required • Immediate Starts Available • PM Start Times are priority • On going work Ideally Thursday to Monday Pay Rates are as follows: Weekdays Days (06:00 – 1600) – £16.31 (+£1.96 holiday pay up front if requested) Afternoons (Apply online only)) – £17.94 (+£2.16 holiday pay up front if requested) Nights (2200 – 0600) – £19.57 (+£2.36 holiday pay up front if requested) Time & a Half after 45 hours Weekends Days (0600 – 1600) – £21.29 (+£2.56 holiday pay up front if requested) Afternoons (Apply online only)) – £23.32 (+£2.81 holiday pay up front if requested) Nights (2200 – 0600) – £25.44 (+£3.07 holiday pay up front if requested) • PM Starts Available. • Ad-hoc or 5 shifts a week – you decide. • Ongoing work – Assessment required. Class 1 Delivery Driver Responsibilities • Store deliveries. • Unloading/loading – Cages/Boxes/rails. • Routine vehicle checks and general upkeep/cleanliness of the cab. • Making sure that the load is correctly placed and secure before driving. Essential Experience/ Qualities for this position • Great work ethic. • Minimum 12 Months UK Class 1 driving experience. • Digital Tacho Card & CPC Card. • Comfortable with loading/unloading. • Be professional and presentable at all times. • Have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances. • Must not hold any more than 6 points on your license. • No IN10, TT99 or DR10
