We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our clients Distribution Centre based in Lincoln as a Class 1 Tipper Driver. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to progress in their driving career. Call now to arrange assessment - Immediate Starts available.
- Mon-Fri £15.50ph (+£1.87 Hols up front if requested = £17.37ph).
- Saturday £18.00ph (+£2.17 Hols up front if requested = £20.17ph).
- Mon-Fri shifts with some Saturdays required – Ongoing work.
- Start usually 06.00.
- Approx 10-12 hour shifts. (Minimum 10 hours paid).
Class 1 Tipper Driver Responsibilities
- Class 1 but will be required to drive Class 2 also when needed.
- Tipper work experience an advantage but full training will be given.
- Ideally hold MPQC Qualification – Though can be arranged after assessment.
- Driver must be willing to work weekends if required.
- Some Sweeping & Shovelling required.
- Routine vehicle checks and general upkeep/cleanliness of the cab.
- Making sure that the load is correctly placed and secure before driving.
Essential Experience/ Qualities for this position
- Great work ethic.
- Minimum 12 Months UK Class 1 driving experience.
- Digital Tacho Card & CPC Card.
- Be professional and presentable at all times.
- Have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances.
- Must not hold any more than 6 points on your license.
- No IN10, TT99 or DR10.
