We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our clients Distribution Centre based in Leeds as a 7.5ton Delivery Driver, working 5 shifts a week. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to progress in their career with a Large Haulage Company.
- Days: £14.36ph (+ £1.73ph Holiday pay up front if requested is £16.09ph).
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 08.00-18.00.
- Start: Immediate start with ongoing work to minimum August.
Responsibilities:
- Multi drop. Mostly palatized - so use of pump truck required.
- Approx 15-20 Delivery/collections per shift.
- Localized Drops.
- Scanning/Loading required.
- Routine vehicle checks and general upkeep/cleanliness of the cab.
- Making sure that the load is correctly placed and secure before driving.
Essential Experience / Qualities for this position:
- Great work ethic.
- Minimum 6 months 7.5ton driving experience.
- Digital Tacho Card & CPC Card.
- Valid DBS prior to starting work.
- Be professional and presentable at all times.
- Have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances.
- Must not hold any more than 6 points on your license.
- No IN10, TT99 or DR10.
