We are looking for a proactive and motivated IT Specialist to join our growing Service Team at DD Group. In this role, you will play a key part in not just managing but improving our IT infrastructure, supporting major incidents, handling day-to-day requests, and ensuring smooth problem resolution across the business. Responsibilities

  • Maintain, monitor, and support the company's core IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud environments.
  • Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
  • Oversee and maintain virtualization platforms (Hyper-V) and cloud services (e.g., Microsoft Azure).
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues raised by the Service Desk.
  • Maintain and create knowledge base articles to support the Service Desk.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver infrastructure-related projects on time and within scope.
  • Cross-team collaboration with Service Desk, QA, and Development.
  • Create and update knowledge base articles for internal IT teams.
  • Stay current with new technologies and recommend solutions that enhance reliability, performance, or efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced Windows Service troubleshooting.
  • Advanced Azure / Intra, IaaS, PaaS knowledge with key troubleshooting and investigation experience.
  • Knowledge of backup solutions and maintenance.
  • Virtualization platform management for Hyper-V.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., PRTG).
  • Storage management (SAN, NAS, iSCSI).
  • Enhanced networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls).
  • Endpoint management (Intune, SCCM, or similar tools).
  • PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
  • SQL understanding and ability to run queries.
  • Experience managing and maintaining warehousing systems.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles (patching, endpoint protection, MFA, zero trust).
