Our client TCS / British multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology company are currently looking for a Neo4j DBA to install, configure, and maintain Neo4j databases in production and development environments.
The successful candidate will have experience in managing backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for Neo4j, monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability. They will also deploy and manage Neo4j clusters on Azure infrastructure (VMs, Kubernetes, networking, storage).
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Neo4j DBA or similar role.
- Experience of Neo4j DB – Enterprise + Aura.
- Good understanding of graph databases and Cypher query language.
- Experience of Cloud Hosting (Azure).
- Provision, upgrade, and manage VMs (Azure preferred) across environments.
- Handle VM resizing, storage allocation, and capacity planning.
- Install, configure, and maintain Neo4j databases.
- Enable HTTP/HTTPS access and configure SSL certificates.
- Manage DEV, UAT and PROD environments.
- Add and maintain database, backup, and log storage volumes.
- Monitor performance and support upgrades (VM/database).
- Deploy and manage Neo4j APIs/services.
- Collaborate with infra/Unix teams for changes and deployments.
- Troubleshoot environment and infrastructure issues.
- Knowledge of key vault and secrets.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services (VMs, AKS, networking, storage, monitoring).
- Knowledge of Linux administration, scripting (Bash/Python), and automation tools.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
